Israeli Prime Minister says he thinks Trump can play an important role in helping to bring a ceasefire agreement.
Jerusalem, July 6 – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he believes his upcoming meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday could help move forward efforts for a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza.
Speaking on Sunday before flying to Washington, Netanyahu shared that Israeli negotiators had restarted talks in Qatar. He added that the team has been clearly instructed to work toward a ceasefire based on terms that Israel has already agreed to.
